Executive Committe 2026
About Us
We are the SaviKannada 2026 Executive Committee — a group of individuals who have come together with a shared intention to build a stronger, more connected Kannadiga community in Jacksonville.
Each of us brings different strengths and experiences. Some focus on planning and organizing, some on connecting with people, some work behind the scenes, and some bring energy to the stage. Together, we work as one team, ensuring that every effort reflects our commitment to the community.
We also see this journey as a space to learn and grow —deepen our involvement, and contribute in ways that go beyond ourselves. As a team, we value transparency, integrity, kindness, unity, and inclusivity. We strive to create an environment that is rooted in culture.
More than anything, we are here to contribute — to build, to connect, and to create experiences that make SaviKannada feel like home for everyone.

Our Story
We come from different places and different journeys. Some of us grew up in Bengaluru, some in other parts of Karnataka, some across India, and some across the world. Our families come from different cultures, languages, and traditions. And yet, here we are — brought together by something we all connect to.
SaviKannada, for us, is that common thread. It is the language we grew up speaking, the food we miss, and the festivals we continue to celebrate — even as life has taken us miles away from where we began.
As a team, we see that while our paths are different, coming together feels natural.
In many ways, we are a melting pot of cultures, experiences, and identities. It reminds us that community is not about where you come from, but what you choose to hold on to and carry forward.
For us, that is Kannada, culture, and connection.
