My Story

Sudheesh Kamath is from Mudradi, Udupi, and has lived across Karnataka — Malenadu, Karavali, and Bayaluseeme — shaping his deep connection to Kannada culture and literature. He is a Lead Data Engineer with 16+ years of experience building and leading teams in financial institutions across the U.S. and India.

His interest in Kannada began early through literature and theatre spaces that encouraged discussion, debate, and creative expression. Through school and college, he actively organized and volunteered at state-level cultural events, including Alvas Virasat and Sahitya Sammelana, and continues to stay connected to Kannada language, literature, and community initiatives.

Sudheesh lives in St. Augustine with his wife, Prithi Kini Kamath, an ICU Registered Nurse, and their daughter Maeru. Outside of work, he enjoys travel, poetry, and music.
